SingStar was so much fun - Whitneys friends are really cool! I must say even Tiffany would have been impressed by my rendition of "I Think We're Alone Now" - unfortunately, only two people out of everyone there knew what I was singing...
We rolled out of bed on Sunday and went to Warribee Plaza to buy a train ticket. While there, we got breakfast at Mr. Cinnamon (Cinnabon, but with more glaze options). I ordered an iced coffee... what I received was a coffee float, with ice cream to boot. While I love ice cream, and I love coffee, even I have to draw the line at 10AM on a Sunday! The half that I drank was pretty good, though...
From there, we hopped on the tram and went to the Sunday Market, which is a huge outdoor craft fair, with everything from jewelry to artwork to bath products, etc. It's a really beautiful layout, too - this picture doesn't do it justice, but you get the idea:
I bought TONS of Christmas presents there, so most of my holiday shopping is done... I hardly shopped for myself (lying...)
We then went to University of Melbourne so I could see where Whitney spent the last 4 years - it's amazing to think she's been here for FOUR YEARS. Gorgeous campus! We had Thai for dinner at Lanna Thai - delicious with a more traditional ambiance than in NYC - no backs on the chairs, haha!
Part two of the knitting story: Whitney has a book called "Stitch 'N Bitch Nation." I think this picture says it all - look carefully at who it is...
I think the fact that Chicago the Musical is in the background sealed the deal for my uncontrollable giggles. Katie - please tell me this is him...
On to New Zealand!
